What is Grizzly
corps?
GrizzlyCorps is a AmeriCorps fellowship launched in 2020 designed by Project Climate at UC Berkeley’s Center for Law, Energy & the Environment in partnership with CaliforniaVolunteers. Our program sends recent college graduates into rural communities across California to promote regenerative agri-food systems and fire and forest resilience.

GrizzlyCorps has provided me with an extremely valuable job training that gave me exposure to real world issues that affect California's efforts to promote sustainable use of water resources in Agriculture. I feel that this on the job training was something that continuing education couldn't compare to!
I feel incredibly lucky to work with UCCE Fresno and the opportunity to engage in trainings with a broad range of people has been awesome! I am a community oriented person, and the Grizzly Corps community as well as my work community have both been rewarding to work with.
GrizzlyCorps is a wonderful program with a truly inspiring cohort of individuals. The GC staff are enthusiastic and always available to help. I’m grateful for the opportunity to participate in this program as I feel like I'm making a difference in the community.
